Plagioclase

Plagioclase is a series of feldspar minerals, including albite, Ordovician, medium feldspar, elongated stone, feldspar and andesite. Most of the varieties in plagioclase will produce fine and parallel stripes on the surface, and some also have blue or green halo, which is caused by their double crystal structure. Plagioclase is the general name of feldspar minerals of NaAlSi3O8 (Ab) -CaAl2Si2O8 (An) and [2] series.
