Gold mica

Gold mica has artificial mica (synthetic mica) and natural gold mica, and natural gold mica has dark gold mica and light colored mica. The chemical formula of gold mica is KMg3[AlSi3O10][F, OH]2. Because of its different physical and chemical properties, muscovite has many special functions and is applied to many important fields.

Gold mica is usually yellow, dark brown or black, glassy, and cleavage with pearls or semi metallic luster. Gold mica can be corroded by concentrated sulfuric acid, can be decomposed in concentrated sulfuric acid, and produces an emulsion solution of sodium, calcium, and barium in chemical components instead of potassium; replace magnesium with titanium, Fe, manganese, chromium; fluorine instead of OH The varieties of mica include manganese mica, titanium mica, chromite and fluormica.
Light colored mica is transparent and glassy; dark brown mica is translucent. Glass luster to semi metallic luster, cleavage face with pearl luster. The thin slice is elastic. The hardness is 2 - 3. The proportion is 2.70--2.85. No electricity. The microscope is colorless or brownish yellow under transmission light. Pure pure mica is a superior insulating material in the electrical industry, and is also widely used in real stone paint.
Gold mica has dark gold mica (various tones of brown or green) and light colored gold mica (various tones of light yellow).
